Antibacterial and analgesic local treatment for diseases limited to the oral mucosa and the oropharynx.
NB: before the general clinical signs of bacterial infection, a general antibiotic therapy should be considered.
Dosage DRILL Pastille to suck Box of 24
Reserved for adults and children over 6 years old.
The catches must be spaced at least 2 hours apart.
1 lozenge to suck 4 times in 24 hours.
Child from 6 to 15 years :
1 lozenge to be sucked 2 to 3 times in 24 hours.
This medicine should not be used in the following situations:
· In children under 6,
· Known hypersensitivity to local anesthetics and chlorhexidine or other pellet components.
Drill side effects
· Allergic reactions to local antiseptics or local anesthetics (chlorhexidine, tetracaine),
· Brown discolouration of the tongue and teeth (chlorhexidine),
· Transient numbness of the tongue and false roads (see section 4.4 Special warnings and precautions for use ).
