· Symptomatic treatment of pain, transit disorders and intestinal discomfort related to intestinal functional disorders.
· Symptomatic treatment of pain related to functional disorders of the bile ducts.
· Preparation for barium enema
Dosage DICETEL 50 mg Film-coated tablet Box of 20
In the adult
The dosage is 3 to 4 tablets a day.
Exceptionally, this dosage may be increased to 6 tablets per day.
For the barium enema preparation, the dosage is 4 tablets every 3 days preceding the examination.
The tablets should be ingested without chewing or sucking, with a glass of water in the middle of the meal.
Do not swallow tablets while lying down, or just before bedtime.
The efficacy and safety of pinaverium bromide has not been studied in children (see Warnings and Precautions ).
Hypersensitivity to pinaverium bromide or to any of the excipients.
Dicetel side effects
Risk of dysphagia, esophagitis or even upper gastrointestinal ulceration including oesophageal ulcerations may be favored by failure to adhere to the recommendations of intake (see sections Posology and method of administration and Warnings and precautions for use )
The following side effects have been reported during post-marketing use of DICETEL 50 mg film-coated tablets.
The available data do not allow to estimate the frequency precisely.

Digestive disorders such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and dysphagia.
Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders:
Rash, pruritus, urticaria, erythema.
