Indication
Amoxicillin Zydus France is indicated for the oral treatment and prevention of the following bacterial infections caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms defined as being sensitive to amoxicillin (see sections Warnings and Precautions). Precautions and Pharmacodynamic Properties ):
Initial treatment:
· Acute otitis media;
 · Acute bacterial sinusitis (correctly diagnosed);
 · documented angina at streptococcus A beta-hemolytic;
· Acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis;
· Community-acquired pneumonia;
· Cystitis;
Lyme disease early stage with migrant rhythms (stage 1);
· In combination with another antibiotic and antiserum, eradication of Helicobacter pylori in case of gastroduodenal ulcer disease of the adult.
Prophylactic treatment:
Endocarditis, associated with procedures such as tooth extraction, in patients at risk of developing bacterial endocarditis.

Against indications
The use of Amoxicillin Zydus France is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to antibiotics of the beta-lactam family (penicillins and cephalosporins) or to any of the excipients mentioned in Composition section.
Adverse effects Amoxicillin Zydus France
The frequency of undesirable effects is defined below:
• Frequency: Assigns 1 to 10 users in 100;
· Not very common: affects 1 to 10 users out of 1, 000;
· Rare: affects 1 to 10 users in 10, 000;
· Very rare, including isolated cases: affects less than 1 user in 10, 000.
Infections and infestations | Not very frequent | Overinfections and colonization with resistant germs or fungi, eg oral or vaginal candidiasis after prolonged and repeated use of amoxicillin. |
Hematologic and lymphatic system disorders | Rare | Eosinophilia and hemolytic anemia. |
Very rare | Leukopenia, neutropenia, granulocytopenia, thrombocytopenia, pancytopenia, anemia, myelosuppression, agranulocytosis, prolongation of bleeding time and prolongation of prothrombin time. All of these conditions were reversible after the treatment was stopped. | |
Immune system disorders | Rare | Laryngeal edema, serous illness, hypersensitivity vasculitis, and anaphylactic shock. |
Nervous system disorders | Rare | CNS effects, including hyperkinesia, dizziness and convulsions. Seizures are possible in cases of renal failure, or treatment at high doses. |
Gastrointestinal disorders | Frà © Quent | Gastric disorders, nausea, loss of appetite, vomiting, flatulence, loose stools, diarrhea, enanthemas (especially in the area of the mouth), dry mouth, taste abnormalities. These gastrointestinal effects are usually mild and often go away during treatment or very soon after the end of treatment. Taking amoxicillin during meals usually helps to reduce the frequency of these untoward effects. |
Rare | An abnormal and superficial staining of the teeth (especially with the suspension) is possible, but rare. In general, the brushing of the teeth makes it possible to eliminate this abnormal coloring. | |
Very rare | If severe, persistent diarrhea develops, consideration should be given to the - very rare - occurrence of pseudomembranous colitis. Medicines that inhibit peristalsis are contraindicated. Appearance of a black language. | |
